Location: Sheraton Hotel, Red Deer, Alberta
This four day conference, worth up to 1.2 CEU points, begins on Monday, December 4, with the RUSA sponsored hospitality room - time to catch up with your peers from across the province!
On Tuesday, December 5, register in one of four excellent pre-conference sessions, a great time to further your knowledge and earn Continuing Education Units.
AMHSA members are invited to attend the Alberta Cities Safety Council meeting from 10 am - 3 pm and RUSA members are invited to the Annual General Meeting and Luncheon from 12 pm - 1 pm.
On Wednesday, December 6, join us for breakfast, followed by the welcome address and keynote sessions. At 11:30 am, the trade show opens with a buffet lunch for delegates and presenters. The trade show is open until 6:30 pm and runs concurrent with the afternoon sessions.
Our last day closes out with morning sessions, luncheon, and a closing keynote from 1-3 pm on Thursday, December 7, presented by Jody Laird, of the John Petropoulos Memorial Fund.

◙ 2024 Virtual Annual General Meeting

We invite you to attend the upcoming VIRTUAL Annual General Meeting on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM via Zoom. The AGM is an opportunity for members to provide input on AMHSA’s future goals, engage with our Board of Directors and leadership, and to vote on resolutions (as defined in the Societies Act RSA 2000, S-14).
In order to ensure we can provide comprehensive information during the AGM; we encourage you to submit any questions in advance. Voting delegate forms and any resolutions for consideration must be submitted by Monday, May 6, 2024.

Who can attend?
All AMHSA members are welcome to attend. Voting, motions and seconding are reserved for the authorized voting delegates of regular members. Questions are welcome from all members.
Who is a regular member?
A regular member includes any municipality which is a corporation pursuant to the laws of the Province of Alberta and holds a valid Workers’ Compensation Board account.
Who can vote?
Voting delegates who are authorized to vote on behalf of their municipality, and who have submitted their signed authorization form, are eligible to vote, motion, and second.
How do I vote?
Each regular member shall be entitled to one vote on every matter properly put before members at a meeting for a vote. Voting will be done by Zoom poll for virtual attendees.
◙ Ergonomics Coaching & MSI Prevention: Office Ergonomics and Remote Work

Do you experience discomfort when you work in your office? Are you unsure of how to set up your office best, to be safe and productive? We will discuss methods for identifying risk factors and strategies to reduce musculoskeletal injury risk in the office. Set up tips for both a traditional and home office will be provided for the; chair, keyboard, mouse, monitor and other items.
