SGS Academy ISO 45001:2018 Training

The intent of ISO 45001 is to provide participants with a high-level understanding of the important issues that can affect an organization’s occupational health and safety management system, either positively or negatively. Issues of interest are those that can affect the organization’s ability to achieve its intended outcomes – including the objectives it has set for its OHSMS, such as meeting its OHS policy commitments.

Please note that a webcam and microphone are required to participate.

This introductory course will enable you to:

  • Understand the requirements of ISO 45001:2018
  • Recognize what auditors of the system will be looking for
  • Communicate any changes in OHS specific requirements arising as a result of migrating from ISO 45001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018

Please note: This class is a prerequisite for those wishing to take Internal Auditor Training and Lead Auditor Training.

SGS Academy ISO 45001:2018 Internal Auditor Training (Day 3)

  • Virtual training format
  • Instructor: Joseph Gadol
  • Cost: $240+gst per person

On completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain the purpose of an OHS management system and the business and societal benefits of improving OHS performance
  • Explain the role of an auditor in planning, conducting, reporting, and following up an OHS management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1, where appropriate
  • Plan, conduct, report and follow-up an audit of an OHS management system to establish conformity (or otherwise) with ISO 45001:2018 and in accordance with ISO 19011 (and ISO/IEC 17021-1 where appropriate)

Please note:

  • Participants must have successfully completed Understanding the Requirements Training (days 1&2) to attend.
  • This class is a prerequisite for those wishing to take Lead Auditor Training.

SGS Academy ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor Training (Day 4)

  • Virtual training format
  • Instructor: Joseph Gadol
  • Cost: $240+gst per person

This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to perform internal, second-party, and third-party audits of OHS management systems against ISO 45001:2018, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO 17021, as applicable. On completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain the purpose of an OHS management system and the business and societal benefits of improving OHS performance
  • Explain the role of an auditor in planning, conducting, reporting, and following up an OHS management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1, where appropriate
  • Plan, conduct, report and follow-up an audit of an OHS management system to establish conformity (or otherwise) with ISO 45001:2018 and in accordance with ISO 19011 (and ISO/IEC 17021-1 where appropriate)
