Supervisor’s Role Focus Groups (Towns & Villages)

Date: Friday Mar 17, 2023
Time: 9:00-10:30 am
Location: Online

AMHSA is rebuilding the Supervisor’s Role course from the ground up, and we want your input!

This course, available in both instructor-led and eLearning formats, is a cornerstone of our health and safety leadership training because we recognize the critical role that supervisors play in keeping your organizations healthy and safe. We also recognize that the field of health and safety has evolved in the last few years, and we want to reflect that evolution in our training. This revision will bring a greater focus on psychosocial health and safety, update the content to reflect current industry standards, and offer engaging content that meets current best practices in adult learning. The primary purpose of this revision is to ensure that this course meets your needs.

If you’re involved in health and safety leadership in your organization, either directly or in a planning and support capacity, we want to hear from you.

We are hosting three initial focus groups for Cities, MDs & Counties, Towns & Villages, and HR Representatives. The goal of these focus groups will be to conduct needs analyses in each of these three core audiences. This needs analysis will form the foundation for the revision plan. Participants in these focus groups will be invited to offer feedback as the revision develops, helping guide the creation of learning objectives, activities, and content.

If you are unable to make these times but interested in being part of the process, please email [email protected].
