- In accordance with Part 5, Section 37 of the Alberta OH&S Act “An employer who employs 20 or more workers shall establish, in consultation with the joint work site health and safety committee, a health and safety program. This template has been developed as a guide for Alberta Municipalities to consider utilizing to develop or further enhance their Safety Management System with the intent of assisting to meet regulatory compliance to the Alberta OH&S Act. This is not designed to meet the requirements of COR but rather to provide basic assistance for municipalities wishing to formalize their health and safety management system in accordance with the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Laws.
