6TH ANNUAL HEALTH & SAFETY CONFERENCE AND TRADE FAIR

The Alberta Municipal Health and Safety Association’s Executive Director, Jim Moroney, is the President of the Health and Safety Conference Society of Alberta and AMHSA is a bronze sponsor of this event. The Annual Conference and Trade Fair is a three-fold event, combining educational sessions, professional development courses and one of the largest industry trade fairs in Alberta. The educational program includes more than 30 sessions, ranging from broad-based to industry-specific topics. For the first time, this year’s conference features a technical stream on one topic, fall protection. This is an issue common to many industries in Alberta, and falls are one of the leading causes of injury to workers. Technical sessions and professional development courses/seminars are also offered. Attendees can earn maintenance points towards various professional certifications.
